She’s growing up….

I seriously need to get back on track, posting here once a month is just awful!
Peeper is doing great, she is loving her dance classes, and her preschool days. She would like preschool to happen more than twice a day, so hopefully it continues into next fall when she goes to actual school.

We have had a lot going on, last week Peeper went to a pumpkin patch with her preschool class, they had a corn maze, and a bunch of other stuff for kids to do, she loved it. We also decorated our house for halloween, this is the first time we were able to do it, because our last house was just falling apart and the windoes were so bad nothing would stick to them (they would get so cold that even tape would come off of them).

About a month ago we were driving down one of the main streets in the city, when an older Dodge charger drove by us and all I heard from the back was “aunty that is a S-A-WEEEEET car!” which made me laugh so hard, and made her papa pretty happy (he is a dodge guy).

Peeper has also taken to learning the words to music that is played in the car, so I have had to re-adjust the CD’s that I put in the car, the other day she was sitting in the tub singing “I’m in Miami Trick” by LMFAO, which in its own rights was cute, and thankfully she didnt have all the lyrics right so I didnt feel like a terrible adult. Last night she had composed a dance for “in the ayer” by Flo Rida, it was too cute – but I really need to get her turned onto music that is not so gangsta.

In the most recent events, Peeper has learned that my Dr. has me on a pretty strict diet for health reasons, and she now asks me constantly if I am allowed to eat that – referring to anything I go to eat. If I am not supposed to eat it she will take it away and give me crap.

getting back on track

its quite evident that life has taken ahold of me and repossesed my ability to multi-task in any form other than being a part-time defect sending back co-ordinator, full-time student, and a full time auntie/mommy/housekeeper/ well you get the point. I really was planning on posting every day or at least every other day (heck I would even settle for twice a week at this point) but unfortunatly the higher ups have decided that its not in the cards – maybe next week will be better!

Just things…

Pre-school has gone swimmingly, Peeper talks about it and her teacher constantly – which is a huge plus. She looks forward to it and asks every day if she can go. Unfortunatly she is only able to go twice a week because they dont have enough kids for more than that.

Peeper starts dancing today, this year she is taking a combo class which is tap and ballet. She wanted to try tap but its so expensive that we had to find her a combo class so the costs are cut down, the combo class also means she has to start a new school of dance – which i dont think she understands yet. I met the woman that runs the school and she is very nice so I dont think we will have too many problems this year (Unlike last year with all the drama). Her fees are the same as 1 class for 2 so that was nice as well.

There isnt too much new in our lives we have been busy with me in school again and working part time so fun is currently not in our vocabulary – well it is but not the kind of fun Peeper is used to because we are budgeting and she is my money nazi. Peeper watches everything i spend and when i pay for things she asks me if it is ok or if she needs to take my money away – shes is way to grown up for her age, i guess that is what happens when you have two parents that are not the most responsible.

Its been a while…

has been a while, time has certainly gotten away from me with moving, holidays, school and life in general.

We got moved in the middle of August – it was and is still proving to be a fairly big gong show. The day we moved it was pouring rain, as in we were dumping water out of boxes before they could be taken into the house (the next move I do is going to be in Rubbermaid/sterilite containers!!!), so it was a long, wet, disgusting day. Our old landlords are wanting 3300 dollars from us simply because they need to repair the place we moved out of, and I refuse to pay it for several reasons a few being,

Moving, moving, moving….

Peeper does not understand the whole moving thing, when she asked me why I was packing things I told her that we had to move to a new house and she sat there for a minute than asked what would happen to her bed, and her toys and stuff. When I explained that they were coming with us I thought she understood that we would be taking everything with us, unfortunately this was not the case.

Packing with a 4 year old? Should be fun….

Its been an eventful past few weeks.

My aunt from out of town came in and brought my 3 young cousins 2 of which are close to Peeper’s age so Peeper has spent the last few weekends running, and riding her bike, and playing in water with them – where children between the age of 2 and 10 find the energy to run constantly I will never know, but I wish I had half the energy.

Note To Self: Smarties and Fish Don’t Mix Well

Well this was supposed to be posted on July 3rd, however it only saved as a draft unfortunatly. But here it is now only a whole lot late.

Peeper and her Daddy went out to see Uncle Tall’s* parents on Canada Day. Uncle Tall’s mom has just gone through intense Chemo Therapy and Peeper’s Dad thought it would be a nice pick me up to take her out there for a while to visit, he says that Tall’s mom is doing good, she has lost all her hair but has a wig that is so close to her own hair that you would never know, and the Dr’s believe that they may have beat the cancer which is a huge positive!
